Major Trauma Group was formed in the Spring of 2020 to provide assistance to major trauma victims and their families through the provision of specialist legal advice from leading law firms across the country and ancillary services.
Our members are committed to supporting clients at every step of their rehabilitation journey; we’ve partnered with clinician to put in place protocols to ensure a uniform approach across the membership to enable early access to rehabilitation and we can assist with a range of legal and financial matters including bringing a claim, employment advice and a free welfare benefits check-up.
With around 50% of people who leave hospital following major trauma are unaware of the legal advice they are entitled to, the Major Trauma Group has been set up to assist those discharged to Google, to provide a central point to find information about recovery from injury and the help that may be available along the way.
In February 2021, Chairman of Major Trauma Group, Trevor Sterling spoke to John Ainscough of Ainscough Associates Case Managers about why the Major Trauma Group was established, what differentiates us from other organisations and why we chose to set the Group up as a not-for-profit community interest company.
