  • Focused treatment to achieve specific treatment goals for Mrs J

Our Clinician worked with this client to ensure that those pre-existing symptoms were managed using statutory services whilst focusing on those symptoms caused by the traffic collision. Alongside the management of these symptoms, our clinician used their time to focus on functional recovery. Supporting this client to return to driving, achieve a healthier sleeping schedule, in turn helping functional restoration, such as a RTW.

The clinician was able to solely focus on those symptoms related to the accident, Miss J was restored to her pre-injury levels of function within five, rather than a potential 12 sessions of trauma focused CBT.

  • Specialised treatment support for Mr A

We received an inquiry from a referring case manager, who was specifically looking for local female psychosexual therapist to treat one of his client’s who required a lower limb amputation following an RTC.

The client’s injuries and ongoing symptoms were affecting his relationship with his partner which was further exacerbating the psychological trauma. We were able to source a suitably qualified and experienced local clinician, complete the rigorous onboarding and vetting process within our usual timeframes so that we were able to provide the required treatment. The clinician was able to address the specific treatment goals.
