About STEPS Prosthetics

The logo of STEPS Prosthetics

At STEPS Prosthetics we understand that every client is unique, not just in terms of their injury but also in terms of the functionality that they want to achieve from their prosthetic limb or orthotic device.

Many of our clients have suffered life-changing injuries as a result of a road traffic collision or a catastrophic accident at work and often present with multiple injuries, in addition to their amputation. That’s why we take a holistic approach to treating our clients. By treating clients as a whole rather than focusing on each aspect of their injury in isolation, we achieve better engagement and outcomes for our clients.

Not every client we care for wants a running blade. Most of our clients want to restore function and freedom that is as near as possible to their pre-injury level of mobility. This means focusing on improving a person’s independence and ability to do everyday activities, such as climbing the stairs and walking the kids to school.

The experienced and highly skilled team at STEPS Prosthetics have a strong track record of delivering a client service that is of the highest calibre. From how we communicate with clients, their families and other professionals involved in their care, to keeping abreast of cutting-edge developments in the field of prosthetics, STEPS Prosthetics strive for excellence.

Our ethos is to respect each individual client’s circumstances and ambitions and support them in every way possible to achieve their optimal outcomes. Even if that involves becoming a medal winning Paralympian, at STEPS Prosthetics we have the expertise to match our clients drive!
