Think Therapy 1st is dedicated to delivering exceptional rehabilitation through a team of highly skilled and knowledgeable Specialist Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist’s (SROT).
Individuals with physical, psychological, cognitive difficulties and complex injuries and have benefited from our support to regain or maintain independence in their daily living, school or work and leisure skills. Our approach is holistic, interactive, and face-to-face, delivered in your home or wherever you need it!
Your rehabilitation with Think Therapy 1st focuses on restoring function, enabling you to regain control over your situation and adapt to any residual long-term injury or disability. Your intervention is designed to be time-bound with maximum long-term benefits.
In addition to our SROT program, we have developed a functional approach to pain, fatigue, anxiety, and vocational challenges. These programs empower you to do the things you want to do despite your pain or fatigue. These skills are embedded into our SROT program or can be offered as standalone programs.
During your therapy, your sessions will be activity led, where one activity often fulfils the same role as multiple traditional exercises. As your therapy progresses, we gradually reduce our input to empower you to independently maintain your goals and responsibilities. Our ultimate objective is to equip you with the necessary skills and confidence to achieve the highest level of personal independence, enabling you to participate fully in your desired activities and lead a fulfilling and meaningful life.

- Over the past decade, we have successfully supported more than 530 individuals with complex injuries, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputees, trauma and orthopaedic injuries.
- We use local OTs with coverage across the UK so that your SROT will have knowledge of your community.
Your SROT will be a specialist in rehabilitation, which means they will have several areas of expertise, knowledge, and skill, for example, complex trauma and/or brain injury, who will identify creative and dynamic therapy sessions in all the environments you need to participate in.
You will have, at minimum, weekly sessions, but this can be up to three sessions per week if needed.
